Welcome to Optimal Farms
Optimal farms was purchased in 2009 by Ellen Gorter and Steven Boerchers. Together with our two children, Everleigh and Leif we milk 150 Holsteins using 3 Lely A5 robotic milking systems. We grow all our own feed grass & alfalfa and crops such as canola, soybeans, wheat and corn.
Our farm has continued to grow and develop each and every year. Now with our children beginning to show an interest, we have begun direct sales of our farm grown produce.
Currently we grow an assortment of vegetables to be sold throughout the summer. These include onions, garlic, beans, potatoes pumpkins and sweet corn.
In addition to vegetables we also offer a variety of meat. All animals are raised on our farm with love and care to provide the best product to our customers.
Our meat line up includes pork, free run chickens, milk fed veal and our waygu cross beef.
